Dr. Trina Rydzewski will explain the underlying mechanisms of trauma, and provide evidenced-based strategies for parents to respond to the emotional and behavioral challenges that may arise based on the developmental stage of their individual child.

Motivational Strategies with Dr. Vivian Wang
Friday, September 24, 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. PDT

Students may be heading back to school, but our kids will be dealing with the ripple effects of Covid for many months to come. With so many changes and disruptions in our children’s routines over the last year, it’s no wonder many students are feeling unmotivated. This can trigger negative thoughts and feelings, leading to anxiety or mood-related issues. Dr. Vivian Wang will provide tricks and tips for how to manage and overcome low motivation and difficult feelings and behaviors that come with changes in routine.

Q&A with Drs. Cantwell, Rydzewski, and Wang
Friday, October 8, 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. PDT

All three CARE-LA doctors will lead the final session together and will answer any questions you may have.
